Our health equity work brings academic rigor — including spatiotemporal analyses of population-level household data and difference-in-differences designs from natural policy experiments — to questions of disparity, access, and financial protection. Recent and active research includes work on intergovernmental fiscal transfers in Kenya, maternal healthcare disparities, and HIV financing mechanisms.
